The table of 50 years old walnut, filled with black epoxy. It reminded me of a deserted island, with a lot of sand and black dried mouths of rivers. It's hard to look away, isn't it?
This winter was very cold and snowy. I made Sand foreland in February when there was a terrible cold outside.
I thought about the incredible September week, spent at Male Atoll, in the Maldives. Azure water, white sand, warmth and paradise on earth - these are the thoughts I put into this table.
We use Italian self-curing resin of high liquidity and transparency to exclude any bubbles or turbidities inside the pour. After curing of the resin we polish the table to mirror-finish and coat it with table wax or varnish, depending on usage of the table, which we discuss with you before beginning the manufacturing process. We will also send you a small amount of our special wax, so that you can repair an accidental crack or knife scratch. To tell you the truth, we are assured, that this won't be necessary, because we are confident in our does and offer a five-year guarantee on any of our products.
